Default what is the best oil to use?

I have an ITR motor- is the Honda or Acura factory oil any better than the synthetic Mobil One I currently use? Reason I ask is because I notice my engine loses about one quart of oil per month, and it is just my daily driver, not a track car.

I run Royal Purple 5w30 in my crx with a b16 and thats the best oil ive ever use , if ur burning oil the cheapest method is to run a thicker weight like 10w30 or 10w40

The factory oil is no better as far as I know, think its made by exxonmobil anyway. Dont run thicker oil, that wont keep you from burning oil. Do you see bluish smoke from the tailpipe at all? It may just be burning at higher rpm's.
