i need help. i woud like to buy a tig that is in the 1000-1700 $ range that can do it all; aluminum, stainless, mild etc... i will mostly be making manifolds, exhausts, intercooler tubing, cages etc. i want to get a decent machine that will last me for years to come. which ones would you recomend for my price range and requirements. would you recomend any place that sells welders at good prices? i really dont know what specs. to look at and ive welded only about 4 times in my life (mig and tig) and need guidance.

p.s. i was reading about the thermal arc 185tsw and it looks pretty good. what do you think??
