Default 92 Accord dies

Driving down the Hwy it dies and all gauges go to zero. It starts easily but dies immedietly. Found that if I keep the key turned to "start" it runs.
Don't know if it is related, but for a few weeks it wouldn't start immedietly. Found that if I try once, then turn the key back one click, and then try again it starts every time. What is most likely?

Sounds like another main relay, do a search and I'm sure that will help you on tour way. My civic does it mostly in the winter, but never bothered to replace or repair because it doesnt happen too often.

i'd test the ignition switch myself before you replace a main relay. sounds like your switch is wore out.

You've a bad ignition switch (electrical portion). The hint is your comment about the dash gauges. If they had not been effected, I would agree with snowshooz
about the main relay. But since they are, you've an electrical failure of the Ignition switch.
Later Honda's had a recall for just this condition.
