O/T...But has anyone been extremely sick lately?
I think I have a really bad case of the flu or something worse, i've had a headache for the past 5 days, aches all over, caugh, sore throat, and tired....Have an appt. at Urgent Care at 11 so we'll see.
Anyone else not get a flu shot and really sick?
Oh and sorry if that made absolutely no sense, i'm on so many meds my head is spinning.

I had my flu shot earlier this year and am still fine. *knock on wood*
Hope you get better soon.
One thing to keep in mind is to not touch your mouth or face. Hands are notoriously dirty.

I have not gotten a flu shot, and I have not been sick in a while. I don't usually get sick though, maybe once or twice a year, but when I get sick I'll be in bed for a week. I guess it hits me pretty hard.

I've always been a firm believer of letting your body do its own thing.
I get sick maybe once or twice a year, and its never anything to keep me in bed.
I NEVER go to the doctor, never get flu shots, only take medicine to help me sleep at night when I have a bad cold, or supress my snotty nose while I'm at work.
I like to think that letting your body fight off whatever it is on its own helps your immune system to grow stronger. Urban legend? Maybe, but its worked for me.

I am in my last day of my cold. I just bombard myself with meds until it is gone. I take airborne, zicam, and Tylenol cold. I got over it in like 4 days. Everyone else that had it was sick for about 2 weeks.
The was/is a real bad virus going around my area right now as well. It makes you puke and **** uncontrollably for a week. there is no cure for it at all. You just got to let it run is course. the sectioned off the wing of the hospital to keep people.

I go skimming in 70 degree weather with 50 degree water, eat double cheeseburgers everyday, and I haven't gotten sick in so long its not funny....
*cough*....crap...

I had this around 3 weeks ago. I stayed in bed for about 48 hours straight, was pretty doped up and was fine by the 3 or 4th day. Just sleep a lot; I think I was drinking well over a gallon a day too which helped.
