How to remove the mugen center caps from the wheels..
I've never thought of taking mine out. I didn't even know those hex screws come out. I thought they were just decoration or something. Try punching it out from behind with a piece wood and a mallet.
You hear that Saga?
Are you afraid that your wheels will see my BFH!??

They just pop out the back side...there were a couple of them that took forever to get off. What we did was use a 17mm socket with an extension and hammered it from the backside...the guys at the local America's tire were afraid to do it, so I had to do it myself. I made sure that they knew how expensive the rims were before they even drove my car into the work bay...then they were afraid to work on it...the manager had to do it.

From the back side of the wheel use the butt end of a wooden hammer handle. Place the handle in the center cap and hit the head end with another hammer. Place a rag appropriately to ketch the center cap as it takes some force to knock them out and you don't want them bouncing around on the pavement. They are just held in by rubber "O" rings that tend to harden with age. Don't use metal socket or you will dent the center cap from the back side. The Allen head screw is just decoration and does not have any thing to do with removing the cap.
