Default Fast idle thermo valve?

If I were to unhook the coolent lines from the TB in order to cool down the air going in to the engine, how do I keep the fast idle thermo valve from thinking the world is going to hell?

You mean how to avoid the surging idle if you unhook the coolant lines?

easy, this is what i did:

remove fast idle valve, plug hole that is on the bottom of the t/b and cut a new gasket keeping out the fast idle valve, route the collant lines and voila....cooler temps
