quick question about removing center caps

quick question about removing center caps
i have 99-00 civic si wheels and i wanted to clean up the center caps, do i push them out from the backside? or do i push them out from the front??

If you already have the wheel off you could just push them off. If you want to be lazy and not take the rim off you could use a thin flat head to gently pry it off.
