Cut to the chase:

Input shaft spins but after about 3-4 rotations the diff stops spinning...any ideas? Just trying to get an idea on what IT MIGHT BE...

This was after inspecting the tranny and reinstalling the case.

I have a feeling it might have to do with the differential carrier and/or the pinion gear...

Did you check for loose fitting or spinning bearings?

 

figured it out...it was slipping in and out of neutral......at least I checked the tranny before installation...couldv'e been what you described...
