You actually have vtec hooked up and woriking? How does it feel,? Im assuming it feels like stock since it still has the dx ecu..Car looks good to me in primer like that even though its a crappy job..

Check this out for the mpfi conversion..http://crf50.no-ip.com/fourthgenhatch/mpfi.html

And you'll have to decide if you want to go with a chipped obd0 ecu with something like turboedit and 1 wire vtec..Or go obd1 and run a p28 ecu..

What's with the DX intake and TBI? Looks like my CRX's engine with a VTEC valve cover. How does the car run like that? What exactly did you do, put a ported SOHC VTEC head on the DX block?

no, he just put a z6 head on his block and bolted on his stock intake mani and then activates vtec via switch. in other words he didnt really any power and if he did then its so little you could barely feel it. The intake manifold, switch activated vtec, transmission, and his ECU is holding him back.

basically right now its probably the same as him running his stock head

in order for him to get the most out of his car as of right now he would need:
Intake manifold from a MPFI
P28 or chipped obd0 ecu
if he goes p28 he has to transfer it to obd 1
if thats a z6 head he needs a new dizzy and 4 wire o2 sensor.

the list goes on im tired someone else can finish

i was having doubt if i should run a mini-me but a conversion harness+p28= burn a hole in pocket.

if i am running obd0 , i still need a new distributor and O2 sensor ?

You socket and chip the pm6 ecu and burn a program for your motor into your chip,,then put it in the socket,,Get turboedit for this because it has a 1 wire vtec setup that allows you to use the a/c clutch output wire to activate vtec..

And no you dont need a new o2..You dont even need an o2 at all,,theres an option with the turboedit program to run no o2 sensor..

And for distibutor you use the obd0 mpfi..If you have a D16y8 head it will bolt right up ,,But D16z6 head,,You know you'll have to rig it up to fit..

Really for info check out http://xenocron.com and http://pgmpfi.orgfor alot of info..
