Yesterday at the first test and tune session of the year Brian Fisher drove the InlinePRO S2000 to a record pass. The car is completely stock with the exception of these mods...

Competition Clutch stage 4

The runs were made on the crappy Nitto 245/50/16 radials

This is the new current record for an S2000 and also believe the fastest honda on street tires period. Its funny since this car was P/street legal and running all season last year minus the roll cage, but we had not made any passes before now.

The car left making 560/360 and there's def. more in it, so stay tuned for further updates and changes.

Keep in mind this was done on the stock rear-end, stock motor, stock suspension, no weight reduction what so ever (even had the spare tire in it). The wonders of RWD sometimes make me think...

Yea it was deff alot of fun watching you guys run the car and breaking the record. I went to record Brian's next pass but thats when it broke It was deff a good time pushing it back, but im sure its only going to come back out faster/stronger. I cant wait to get my Si to you guys and get that done as well. Congrats on the new record it was really cool to be there when it happend. here is a video i did from that day. where can you get those axles from?

IP dosent have them for the s2k on their site and I havent seen them on DSS

 

I dont know why they are not on the website, RSX axles arent there either.
Maybe you have to call them.

ive seen a s2k on streets hit lower 10's, and ive heard of a turbo nsx doing it too (not much importance cuz i never saw proof). but i did watch the s2k run.

okay so where is it. I dont remember anyone posting that up. I dont remember you stating this on anyoneselses thread, especially the one a couple weeks ago where shaun from NOVA stated he had the fastest s2k with an 11.2 or something. The whole deal with this post is that there has been this unofficial race to get the s2ks into the 10's. We have never heard of any other s2k in the 10's but if you have thats great. And trust me u arent bursting my bubble, because I find what you are saying hard to believe with out any proof. So what was the"official time" for the pass you saw?

 

With out a slip or video it means nothing because currently with proof the record stays with inline pro and jon's s2k with brian being the driver I could say to everyone hey i have a 9 sec s2k but with out proof its just bs out of my ***. As of right now unless the person you saw run low 10's or what ever comes up with a video or a slip, this s2k has the record

I think you may have got the "10" mixed up with a "11". Inline has the fastest S2K in the world! We all know this. Like Matt said there has been a race to get to the 10s and Inline just won. This is how the times go for now

1st Inline with a 10.7
2nd the guy from Aus with a 11.1
3rd me with a 11.3
4th is Jason with 11.4

This is fact, unless there is some S2K out there that NO one know about but you. Just a thought

lol come to florida, he is at the gainesville track quite often.

he is an old guy, im pretty sure he doesnt post online. he ran 10's all day long, with a higher trap speed than 132. until he broke his rear end.

i think one of my friends took a video. ill see if i can get it and host it...

regardless, i have nothing to do with it, i didnt tune it, so why the hell would i care. just posting what ive seen, and i think if anyone has an credibility around here, it'd be me

I dont think our point is questioning your credibility, the point is that if this old guy in FL who doesnt post online has gone faster that is awesome but whats the slip look like, set the bar for us slowpokes.

 

did something break on the car in the video that was posted? rear end?

either way...if you are the record holder or not. what was done with the stock motor and rear end is unbelievable

 

yea, it broke on that pass, hopefully we will have it fixed by this weekend and brian should be out again on Sat.

Aftermarket clutch, but I hope he doesn't have his delay in still.. =P
