Does any one have a passport 8500?
i have one and is one of the best radar detectors i have ever owned but my car is sending it false signals i was driving on the highway the other day and when i hit 70 it would go off laser and beep like crazy it doesn't stop beeping until i let off under 70 i am stomped and it has never happend to me before just wondering if anyone has one and experienced this before?

dont speed and you wont need a radar detector
the speed limit down here is 70 and i go no faster than 70 sometimes i even do 60 hondas are eyesoars enough expecialy for cops

Well damn. They are all 60 here. That sucks. 
I searched on the topic for you, google and all, and came up with no one else having the problem, so it must not be very common. Try posting in the security section though.
