Default How to remove CRX carpet covering spare?

It seems to be pinched onto to the vertical portion of the "shelf assembly" by a piece of metal (which also attaches to the hinges) held on to it by some small, coarsely threaded screws...but upon removing all of the screws, the spare tire carpet doesn't come out. It looks like the piece of metal has rivets going through it as well which holds it on to the hinge assembly. Do I need to remove these rivets to get the carpet out in one piece?

I had some water leaking into the back and the carpet is now all mildewy and gross. Is this carpet still available from Honda?

http://slhondaparts.com/browse...=true piece # 8 in this picture...

Thanks!

Alex
