I need help identifying parts on my engine cause this is my first project and Haynes & Mitchell is not helping me at all.
I took pictures of the things still not connected and i circled then in red.
If its at all possible when u post what i circled please tell me the obd0 color code then the 0bd1 thanks in advance to whoever can help
Sorry for the repost btw
Also if someone knows where i can get a vacume diagram for a d16z6 head that would help me allot too...

#1 is the fan switch, you will have to hardwire it or wire it up to your stock fan.
#2 Not to sure, maybe egt
#3 IACV 1 Blue/Black 1 Yellow/Black
# intake air 1 Red/Yellow 1 Green/White

That's an A6 manifold. For the vac lines: the three nipples on the front go to the fuel pressue regulator, the PCV, and the throttle body. There's one on the back that goes to the charcoal canister and the MAP sensor on the firewall, there's another large one that goes to the brake booster. If you get the Z6 mani the MAP is on the TB and there will only be 2 nipples on the front for the PCV and the FPR, the purge solenoid will be on the back driver's side of the manifold, the IAT sensor will be on the back, and the booster nipple will also be on the back. If you are going OBD1 you can't use the injectors that came with that manifold.
I don't know about that. I know there is a difference between OBD1 and OBD0 injectors, but I have OBD0 and never used OBD1 so I don't know. I would imagine there would be a difference, since the A6 (OBD0) uses those injectors with the resistor box, so I don't see how you could run the SAME setup with OBD1. Anyway, I'm sure someone will chime in with the appropriate info, and someone will chime in and say get a B16.

You CAN in fact use either fuel injector. The ECU sends out the same signals etc regardless to generation. Just use the Resistor box for OBD-0 Peak and Hold Injectors and NO Resistor box for OBD-1 Saturated Injectors. If you do a quick search on here you'll see this is true.
BTW, I'm OBD1 and have switched between OBD1 and OBD0 injectors several times. Just make sure that you put the resistor box on when using the peak and holds.

Ok well the thing is i got the engine allready completed so how do i know if i have the right injectors also i did the dpfi to mpfi conversion allready and it required a ressistor box.So im not suppost to use a ressistor box so then how do i rewire this to work with me ecu ?
