I don't think he has ever cleaned undernieth the hood, so I wanted to spend a lil time on it... he should be proud of his ride!! well, he's some shots... comments welcome
Grabbed me a case of these...and a heater and went to work!

Got the idea to paint the valve cover with wrinkle paint from someone on here who posted about it not too long ago! turned out nice!


And there ya go!


I ended opening a can of worms with his car...he let me have it for a week, so i decided to do some extra work on it...
flushed motor,changed oil and oil filter,changed plugs and wires,seafoamed engine(it acually worked),soldered and tucked headlamp wires(they were a mickeymouse mess!!) and cleaned up anything else I saw loose. changed pcv vavle, tightened and degreased and washed suspension and powerwashed underniether car. Regreased all bushings and suspension parts. detailed interior/exterior including shampooing carperts! the list goes on, but all in all i spent about 20 solid hours workin on it for him, bringing the car that he loves so much back to a true beauty! His face was priceless when he got it back.

HAha hell yea, thats a bunch of work. All ive done for my buddies is a wash and detail.

 

haha, he got me into hondas, tought me everything in the begining...I didn't know ****, i wanted dual exhuast and a tach and all that ****, and he tought me the right way! JDM! haha so I felt like this was a chance for me to do a lil somethin for him. I love doin that kind of work anyways, had no problem hookin up a homie!

that looks really really good...how did or what did you use to get the block that clean????

 

ha, thanks. Um, used a few things on it...simplegreen works well, but the grease on the block and all over the motor was SOOOO fing thick, i had to use like 3 cans of brake cleaner and then simplegreen and soap and hot water, and last, a power washer!!! did the whole front and rear suspension like this...took forever, and soo cold...but worth it in the end

i just got my comp back from mac cuz my HD crashed, and all my programms where destroied, currently don't have **** to edit pix...

haha, naw, just a few beers and I was all good...took me a few nights to clean up the motor

 

now thats what friends are for..looks good..
