Default codes 4 and 8

So I did a zc swap last weekend then the block starting knocking and i had to get out of town so i went ahead and TRIED to throw in a a6/z6 in there. I used a z6 dizzy and cut the harness off and ran all wires straight to it with removeable connectors. Timing has been double checked and wiring has too. None of the wires are grounded out or anything. Me and the guy helping me are so stuck its not even funny we worked all night until 7 in morning. Please shoot me some ideas thanks
Mark

are you running OBD0 or OBD1? - OBD1 Z6 distributor will not work with OBD0 ECU

So are my choices to convert to obd1, getting the harness conversion and a obd1 ecu. Or putting the a6 dizzy on but how would i do that when bolt holes didn't line up
