Default CAR WONT GO INTO GEAR

LIKE IT SAYS THE CAR WONT GO INTO GEAR. PROBLEM STARTED SOON AFTER I GOT THE CAR THEN WAS SO BAD THAT I BROKE THE SHIFTER OFF. SO REPLACE THE SHIFTER AND THE CLUTCH CABLE, I WAS TOLD THAT IT STRETCHED. NEW CABLE WORKED FINE FOR A DAY AND THE PROBLEM CAME BACK. TONIGHT THE PARKED AND WHEN I TRIED TO GO IT WOULD NOT LET ME GET IT INTO GEAR. TRIED ADJUSTING THE ANGLE OF THE CABLE. TRIED TIGHTNING AND LOOSENING THE CABLE NOTHING WORKED SO I JUST NEED TO KNOW WHAT IT COULD BE SO I CAN GET IT FIXED

i remember this happend one time to my bro's car.
you have to loosen a screw under the tranny just a touch... putting a washer on it, and tightening it like that. i dont know which exact screw it is, but it is uner the tranny... towards the passenger side of the shift linkages. hope this helps.

This just happend to me, if its not the adjuster screw on the tranny, and you replaced the cable, then it is the pedal assembly. Sometimes they get real weak and start to bend and eventually break. it was a slow process on mine but it eventually just wouldnt go into gear. Take a look under the dash and see if the clutch pedal has some play in it left and right, and look for damage to the metal frame on the assembly. if i find a pic ill post it to show you where.

K so i figured out the problem, it was the weld that held the clutch petal to the petal assembly. so went to the junk yard today and got one. put it on and car feels better than before. here is some pics of the broken bitch. haha

ya i knew it, same exact thing happend to me, except that was before i was on ht, i took everything apart and changed clutch and still no luck, finally i was underneath and noticed that too. keep that old one, you can have it welded to work again just in case. question, do u have a stock clutch?? mine was act and apparently the pressure was too much, i went back to stock but i think it may be happening again.
