Of course, anyone here will tell you that an EF is a great car to build. There are many options for engine swaps/ turbo setups, etc. You can make that car about as fast as you want, more money= more speed. Now, whether or not YOUR car will be good to build; how's the body? What do you plan on doing to it? If you plan on swapping the engine soon, then it doesn't much matter how well it runs. As long as you avoid rust or serious accident damage, you can't go wrong.

Its hail damaged up the yahoo, but we can fix that easily. Engine doesn't run. We would swap it out first thing. No rust and its a great deal. Good car to strip and make a race car.

I just wanted to know if there is anything different from an Si or something else that would make it more difficult to build. Is there any features that make it better or worse. Weight??? anything general like that. Are all swaps easy as a SI?

no it isnt as easy to swap into as an si...the hubs are different and so is the wiring....you would have to convert dpfi-mpfi and swap out the hubs to accomadate for the axles if your gonna swap in a b series...
