Default Will a 00 em1 helms be sufficient for a gsr swapped 00 hatch?

since my hatch and an em1 are the same chassis, would it be a good idea to get a hemls for an em1 seeing as though the gsr and si are both b series? how much of a difference would there be? would it be insignificant and would i be able to get by using the em1 helms?

Talk to "Katman" here on Honda-Tech...he is the god of ecu/wiring stuff...he's got his own website and stuff about wiring. He'd be the guy to talk to.

i dont think you quite understand what im trying to say. since a b series came in the em1, and since im going b18c1, would the helms manual for the em1 be suitable for my gsr swapped hatch? like would the maintenence diagrams and all that stuff for the b16 be nearly identical for a gsr hatch?

I'd kinda go with the GSR manual because of the difference in the motor.

so is the difference between the b16 and b18c1 that significant? reason i want the em1 manual is because its the same chassis as my car and im guessing the maintence directions and diagrams wouldnt be much different.

there is no real reason you need a helms to install that engine in your car ... just use a si engine harness and it is plug and play ... i have done it many times ... i recomend using a skunk 2 intake manifold though
