Call Me Stupid!
I have a transmission question, I did a d15b VTEC swap on my 91 dx hatch. I used my dx tranny with the same yr. (90-91) si flywheel, pressure plate, and clutch. When I start my car I obviously have to push the clutch all the way down to the floor to start it, But here is the problem, when I put it into gear it just takes off!, even with the clutch all the way to the ground!
My clutch was working fine on the old engine, with no problems. WTF???? is going on I have my clutch cable adjusted fine I can't find any problems. Other info: The New motor (d15b VTEC) had a auto tranny on it, and i used a clutch alignment tool to put the new flywheel, pressure plate, and clutch disc back in. Any knowledge on this would help my *** alot!!!! Thanks.

Yeah it just starts to drive, even with my foot all the way down to the ground with the clutch pedal. I have to rip it out of the gear and put it into neutral to stop it!

It didn't come off, cuz when I press the pedal down the cable pulls up. And a switch what kind of switch?, is it the lever with the little box on it that the cable pulls up?

Actually this is incorrect. There is switch with normally open contacts located at the clutch PEDAL assembly. When you press your clutch ALL the way DOWN, it pushes this normally open switch to the "closed" position, allowing the vehicle to start.
This is an electronic safety circuit and has no bearing on whether your clutch is adjusted properly or not. That is an independent problem.
