Default what would be the right choice

what do u think is the right engine for a 92 civic hatch? basically i am looking for a an engine that will last a long period of time and not give to many problems. and it will be a daily driven car that drive through ortega hwy let me know what u think?

keep the engine you have and change the oil regularly. it will last forever

i would but there is no power and the engine has 200,000+ and needs to be replaced so wondering what to replace it with

get a type r motor. its stock and a direct swap into your civic. that will give you 190ish right there

I think a type r would be good. right around 190 add a few bolt ons an youl be set.

if not type R maybe just a GSR or LS-VTEC??? save a bit of money too and still pretty quick
