Default si intake manifold swap

is it possible to bolt up a 90 si intake manifold to my hf. I'd imagine it would give me a bit more thorttle response and possibly more horsepower, also what would be involved.

do a search..... if nothing comes up then do it manually & flip threw all the pages. This topic has been address alot of times.... sorry I'm not trying to be mean. I'm sure alot of honda-tech members know how to do it but they probaly just don't like to repeat themselves.

parts you will need for this swap:

Si intake manifold complete with 4 injectors, fuel rai, TB, sensors
injector resistor
Si ECU
Si distributor
Si throttle cable (a lot easier than trying to re-route the dx cable)
Si injector harness (plugs)

you also need to do a bit of rewiring but it aint that difficult

hope this helps

I don't think that you have to much to do. Replace intake and si tbody also change air intake hose and filter top. The rest of it is the same. If you can find a si cam and complete exhaust and computer it should run close to a si.

you just need the throttle body -intake- ecu, im pretty sure the hf fuel injectors and fuel rail will work.oh and the intake air box and hose from si,hf hose is smaller.egr valve is not on the si intake.

i dont remember if the hf pistons have four or two ,dam cant remember the word but indentions for the valves,to use the 16 valve head.i pretty sure it does.ask mista-bone he knows.

HF Pistons only have 2 valve reliefs when the DX and SI have 4.

Ey dude, I wanna ask you something. A ZC intake manifold, can I bolt that on to a CRX Si engine? Hope you can answer this ASAP, this manifold I saw in Ebay is for 20 bucks and it looks good(well in pix but you'll never know) and I have 12 hours before it closes. I feel like bidding on it but I wanna make sure first. I just basically need more air and fuel in my engine without having to buy those expensive venom manifolds or some s***. Let me know, alright? Thanks

Ey Crusher. I have an HF too. And I have an Si engine in my garage with 32K. I see you're in the area, kinda....(Well I live in San Fernando Valley). But umm, if you want I can sell you the CRX Si engine with Si tranny and brain for $350. It looks clean with wire harness and all. I ain't jackin nobody. I just feel like going B16A instead of Si Swap. I bought it for $480 bucks from my cousin back in 2000. Its been sitting in my garage. Since I see you have an HF, maybe you're interested.
