I WOULDN'T BUY FROM THIS GUY. Yes, I bought a $25 integra antenna for dirt cheap. But he could have charged more or told me how he was going to ship it and then asked more for shipping which I would have happily provided. He ended up sending the antenna poorly packaged and then took it out on me when politely asked for some sort of remuneration.
What he sent me:
*Notice the packaging: USPS Priority Bag with no Insulation

*Notice the broken antenna:

What another seller sent me:
*Notice the packaging: USPS Priority Box with newspaper as insulation

I bought 1 antenna from another seller and 1 antenna from this guy. One was to replace my antenna that was snapped. The other was to be a backup since I know this occurs frequently. I tried to be objective, honest, and straight forward with the seller. Here was the following IM that I don't think will end up positively for either of us:
History
(8:15 AM 3/25/2006) jomama: have a ITR throttle body?
(9:28 AM 3/25/2006) cpakc1: not one for sale.
(1:32 PM 3/25/2006) cpakc1: I got your MO today I'll ship it on monday.
(1:59 PM 3/25/2006) jomama: sweet, thanks
(4:24 PM 3/30/2006) jomama: hey buddy we got a problem
(4:25 PM 3/30/2006) jomama: first, i want to say thanks for sending out the antenna really quick. however, when you sent it, you didn't package it correctly and the silver post containing the mast snapped where it connects with the main body. let me know ASAP how you want to remedy the situation. thanks
(4:39 PM 3/30/2006) cpakc1: hey buddy, you wanted dirt cheap I gave you dirt cheap, sounds like you need to take up a shipping and handling concern with the post office. They would have had to use it as a football to break the antenna off, next time maybe pay a little more to get better shipping.
(5:01 PM 3/30/2006) jomama: you're kidding me, right?
(5:03 PM 3/30/2006) jomama: if i knew that you were going to ship like that, i would have been glad to pay 5 bucks or whatever more to have you throw on insurance and package it better. another seller sold me a similar antenna and took the time to send it better to me. i have to ask for my refund, please and i'll be happy to send this back to you.
(5:13 PM 3/30/2006) cpakc1: sold you a similiar antenna??? how many of these have you bought? The fact you say it now you would have paid more for better shipping seems kind of short-sighted huh??? your beef is with the post office not me, take the package to them and complain. Ask them why they charge in pound increments, because putting it in a box instead of the sleeve it was in would have cost an extra $1.87, for a whole .35 of an ounce, christ how much does this antenna cost at the dealership??? or even at a junkyard. it's encased in a metal tube, so like I said I will not take responsibility for their lack of handling care because they would have had to throw the package around like a football and dropkick it to break the antenna off when it was all the way inside it's metal sleeve. That is ofcourse if that is indeed my antenna and not yours you had that was broken, (you know one of the others you've bought) and you're trying to pawn it off on me now. The motor alone is worth 3 times what you paid for it, jesus expletive dude, let it go.
(5:23 PM 3/30/2006) jomama: alright, your call
(5:32 PM 3/30/2006) cpakc1: go ahead dude, say whatever you want, the people I've hooked-up in the last week for parts alone will bury any negative BS you've got to say, so be my guest. 25 dollars shipped for ******* power antenna, and this is what I get, so smart guy how about answering my question...just how many power antennas have you bought??? And why does one need to buy more than one???? Is this your niche? Do you re-sell them on ebay or something?? I still contend it would be pretty difficult to break a power antenna in shipping even in a sleeve, so I tend to believe the one you want to send back is your fucked-up one you got now. But hey if that's how you gotta roll I'll be the bigger person I'll send you your refund and you keep the antenna, and I will start a thread that will go 700 members long and you will never and I mean never buy another part in honda-tech again under that screen name. So just let me know how you want it to go.
(5:40 PM 3/30/2006) jomama: i've bought 2. one to replace my messed up one, one as a backup as i know that these go quite often. on my old accord, i had to replace it several times. if it's alright, i'd like to have my refund please.
(5:49 PM 3/30/2006) cpakc1: A back-up antenna??? That's the best you could come up with?? you do realize you can just pull the antenna up and leave it there right? or just change the motor??? you don't need an entire new antenna assembly, but yeah if that's what you want...checks in the mail and you can keep your fucked-up antenna you were trying to pawn off on me, but I promise you, your done on honda-tech buying. I'm forwarding this pm to the mods, and I will be starting a thread about you and your BS about a "back-up antenna" you are a sad sack of **** to do this to somebody trying to help you out, so I will refund you minus the cost of shipping, and you have just burned your bridges here over what will equate to a $20 refund. Good move.

thanks!
(6:57 PM 3/30/2006) cpakc1: oh no no no, first I want pictures of this broken antenna, I want all angles of this entire assembly, next I want pictures of the packaging it came in all sides, then you're gonna explain to me, what supposedly goes out on these antennas so often, and why you think you need to return this particular one, and I want some sort of technical bulletin from acura to explain the most common areas these fail in. If I'm satisfied by all that, then you will submit to a sworn statement by the local police that the item you are returning is in fact the one you were sent by me,(I mark all my items) and you will sign it with wintesses, then you're gonna send it back and when it returns if no other damage has been incurred and it is in it's same mechanically working condition as when it left, then I will refund you, minus the cost of shipping, cost of a money order, stamp, envelope and gas money to drive it to a post office.
(7:00 PM 3/30/2006) cpakc1: Needless to say I just pulled one out of my boys integra and when it is fully compressed there's no way in hell you can even break the antenna off, it sits flush inside a metal tube, and witht he plastic washer on top like how the one you recieved was, the top of the antenna actually sits below exposure. SO I wanna see how this magically got broken just in normal shipping.
(8:21 PM 3/30/2006) jomama: you've got email regarding the "magical" antenna

yeah this guy is trying to pull a bait and switch on me and I'm not falling for it, notice how he says he bought another one as a "back-up" antenna". Also notice the break on the antenna, looks kind of old, and starting to corrode like it's been that way for awhile, and the fact it broke right there wouldn't matter much for operation, he's very simply trying to get me to refund him and send me his old broken one. POS buyer, and I'm glad he brought this to everybodies attention. I got plenty of vouches, what's this nickel and dime reseller got to show???? Nice way to Hijack a thread huh??? This guy is a criminal, and he isn't getting a nickel back. Anybody tell me how to PM the mods about this guy hijacking all my threads posting PM comments in there???
