Default Need Help Reading A GSR Cyclinder Head?

How do you read those 4 or 5 circle # thingy on the cyclinder head. I want to know if im getting the right head before i buy. I think p72 is a GSR head but those circle / # next to it on the right side.

hope i didnt confuse anyone. its just those code/ # above where the header bolt onto.

well i hope someone could kinda explain it to me what i mean. i know its have something to do with years i think but i just dont know how to read it. ok thats all.

one more thing how do you deal with buying a gsr head from someone? what do i need from them such as paper work etc..

all i know is my friend co worker parting out his blown motor. he's parting the vtec head and block. i just gotta go and check it out and then the owner will pull it off his GSR . pay him and thats it .. but what do i need bill of sales? etc.. i know this might sound like a dumb question but i just want to be on the safe side.

I know the guy thats selling is a good guy plus motor coming off the orginal vehicle too so i think i dont have to worry about anything like my buddy said. but just incase. sorry for all the confusing and questions guys.

It should. The P72 is the casting number. ITR, CTR, and B16A heads are all stamped PR3.

Yeah my friend said its a P72 head. i just need to know how to read those other # stamp next to it on the right side.

As for reading the stamp #. my friend dont no either. theyre not into cars but own a acura. anyways on his the first circle was stamp with 2 numbers then the next just one single digit. i think the first circle was stamp 9/4 but i cant recall the rest of the 3 circle with single digit.

is 9/4 the year it was made 1994?

shoot sorry for all the questions.. i just want to make sure i know what im looking it and buying..
