help plzzzzzz
I was coming home from work like 15 minutes ago when i noticed that my temp gauge was rising so i pulled over and popped the hood and noticed some green liquid on my fan guard and there was bubbles almost like it was boiling on top of my radiator can anybody help.
Just when i was about to start buying parts for my car this **** happens.

yes dont open the cap. it cold be many a things wrong here. that green liquid is more than likely your antifreeze. your radiator could have been clogged and with all the presure building up in it it could have srung a leak somewhere.
That, in itself, is a good sign. At least your cooling fan system is working as designed.
The bubbling on the radiator top may be the indications of a bad radiator cap. But that could be the effect (rather than the cause). There is an underlying cause for the thing overheating, and it most cases it will be a loss of coolant.
Wait until the engine cools off b4 you attempt to open the radiator cap. With it sufficiently cool it will be safe to refill the radiator, without fear of either getting a face full of scalding antifreeze, or cracking a head (or something).
What should be performed is a cooling system pressure test. You may be able to rent the tester (with instructions) from DeathZone Auto Parts. This will pressurize the system and force the leak to show itself without having to start the engine.
Considering the age of the vehicle (95 Accord) it could be anything from Radiator to hose to water pump; so check carefully so you don't spend any more of that 'candy money' than necessary on expected repair stuff.

You are not good to go on this, and several days from now, you'll be back and we'll have to start this all over again.
Ask yourself this: Where the F...k did all that fluid go?, and why?
At least your Radiator cap functioned properly (sucked the overflow bottle dry when the engine cooled off), But refilling the system didn't cure your problem...

Indeed. It's another case of address the effect, forget about the cause (until it bites one's a..s again.
Anyway, It will make for an intersting 'I told you so" later
