i need help on taking out the steering wheel air bag on a 95 civic cx. any help would be great.

 

go reallt fast and hit a wall, boom your airbag is out

 

u must be nutty ...keep the airbag and keep ur head..u know how much those cost?..try 1k if u have to replace one

 

oh i'm not that dumb to take out the air bags. i need to take off the steerin wheel in order to take off my stock dash and put in my new one i got. for me to take off the steering wheel i need to take out the air bag first. if i'm not right please corect me

 

What do you mean dash? You mean guage cluster?

 

well im takin gout my whole stock dash. the steering wheel and the things that turn on the turn signals and wipers are in my way of taking the dash off. i seen alot of people take off there steering wheel in order to take off the dash. well if i can take off the steering wheel with out taking the air bag out then that would be great, anyone know how to? i'm tryin to take out my dash in one piece. i'm putting in a integra dash thats y im taking out the stock eg one.

 

On the side of the steering wheel, there are little clip on panels. Pull them off and there are 2 star bolts( I forget what they are called). Also unhook the wire clip for the airbag. Once you unscrew the 2 bolts, the air bag assembly on the steering wheel will come off. I hope that kind of made sense.
