B16 CRX driver side CV Axle question (ive searched)
Hey wuts up, I've been searching but a lot of the info seems contradictory. I have a 88 CRX dx with a b16a1 swap. Im running an the oem cable lsd tranny with hasport mounts. The other day i swapped in a driver side DA axle and it would bind up and shake on turns. I'm guessing i have the SIR crx int. shaft so what driver side CV axle would work? Am i better off just buying a DA int. shaft to run DA axles? THanks a lot for the help.
You can convert to 90-93 integra halfshaft and use 90-93 integra axle..Or keep the sir halfshaft and use inner joints from a 90-93 integra and outer joints from an 86-89 integra..That = Sir axle..Thats gets annoying though and alot of people just convert to 90-93 integra halfshaft including myself..
Yeah, just go to your local yard and pick up one from any manual 90-93 integra..Im not sure in an auto will work,,Ive never tryed it so I cant say..
