I was woundering if there was a place to go to learn the what the codes are for each motor. I've been wanting to Figure this out so that I don't sound like an IDIOT when I'm posting things.

I have a 89 hatch dx w/ a chumpy dpfi motor and a 4 speed. What is the code for this motor.
How dumb an I? I've been driving honda for about 10 years or so, and doing most of my own work, and have just been swinging it. I'm now getting into some more involved stuff like swaps and stuff (other than swapping the same motor). I still am kinda woundering around blindfolded. I also want to be able to know what people are talking about when thay rattle off codes like d16z6 and b18a2 so on and so forth. I'm sorry if I've wasted anybodies time ,and thanks for any help.
