Tire Pressure BFG's
I was just messing around with tire pressure on bfg's 225/15/50 at the track going from 18 17 16, getting basically the same time, wondering what the community has success if going lower etc etc, this is on a stock h22 hatch i/h/e lauching at 3 or so grand give or take. Main question is it worth going low as 12 to 7psi or it makes no difference on a tire like this .
I have tried many diffrent Psi's with them and found 16psi is the best..... if you go lower might hurt your top end with the same 60fts as the 16. Rob
I started at 18 in mine and eventually found the sweet spot (for me) at 11psi. 225/50/15's. Each car/track will vary a lil' bit so, you'll have to find your setup's "sweet spot". Oh yeah, Make sure you are getting them HOT!!! BFG's love to be super hot.

I ran 10.5, in mine and it seemed to do the trick like hondaguyef said dont be afraid to sit in the water box and spin them for 14 seconds, wait till u see smoke then count to 4
It really depends the set up that the car has. I run between 10-12 psi on some soft spring rates but I still cut decent 60's. I think my best on 225's is a 1.69 and with two broken motor mounts.
