Default Tokcio blues w/Eibach Springs = too stiff for Integra gsr???

Anyone running the tokico blue w/Eibach sportline or prokit? If so, how is your ride? Is it too stiff? How is the ride qualilty with 17" rims?

I can get the tokico blue and Eibach sportline or prokit from my local speed shop for a good price but my friend has this setup, tockio blue and Eibach sportline and the ride is pretty stiff. Sometimes unbearable and too stiff in my opinion. He told me it was because the shop forgot to trim the bumpstops on the shocks(struts). Is this the case with you other people? How is the ride quality on yours?

I need something lower but yet at the same time something that isn't too stiff because I need it for daily driving.

I've got Tokico Blues and Nuespeed Sport springs one my car. The ride is good, not bumpy or bouncy at all really. I would recommend spending some extra money and getting some koni yellow's. They are soooooo much nicer and with adjustability over the blues. Thats what i wish i had done. I think the ride quality might actually be fromt he springs not the shocks cus mine is just fine.

What does that setup cost roughly?

Koni's are $495
Sportlines are $190 (these are the best prices I've seen, from Diabloautosports.com)
So.. about $700 with shipping. :S
Well worth it from what I hear, though

Did you guys have to trim the bumpstops on the shocks before installing them?

i run tokico blues with eibach prokit on my LS. very nice ride, not too stiff. but i didn't read the directions when installing them, i trimmed the bumpstops in the back but not in the front (should have been other way around ). the drop on my car looks uneven. the back is perfect but the front is about 1/4" noticeably higher. i think this may be due to the bumpstop trimming.

I have Tokico Blues and Neuspeed SofSports, same spring rates as the Sport springs (actually the rear might be a little softer, not sure), but only lowers 0.75-1 inch. I love them. They ride just fine and make the car handle nicely. It is noticeably firmer, but not bad at all. I wish the car would come stock this way, it really should. Screw the few dozen old people who buy our cars.
