Post up a pic so we know what we are dealing with but just from the info you have given us I say no. I wouldn't do it. I rarely see any that I like but that's just me.

go to stickercity.com and order a sheet of the taillight tint. that way if you dont like it you can peal it off and wipe off the glue residue.

I actually like the smoked tailights a lot.

However, I would just order the lami-x film, and do it that way. It's not going to cost much more than the materials needed to paint them, and if you get tired of it, then just peel it off.

hey guys
thanks for the quick replies. Sorry i forgot to put my Car model in the post . It is a Honda civic 97 4 door. I like the Tint sticker idea, im gonna chek out that website, but hmm, i was thinking last night since my tails take up quite the amount of space on my rear end it would look odd, then i thought possibly just smoking the bottom of the tails? What you guys? But i cant fidn my Digi Cam right now so im not able to take pics, as soon as i find it ill post one up. Thanks again for teh help.

Hey JDMdan im liking those smoked tails, but i guess thats jsut me :S. oh wellz, let the flaming begin! he he..

Hey
yall heres a pic of my rear ene, ugh those tails!

Thanks for all the advise, but what do you guys think of doing just the bottom part of teh tails (the orange and white, thats what pisses me off the most) i hate that bottom part, ugh ugh ugh. Maybe you guys got other suggestions, perhaps possible taillights that would look good for purchase?

*car is hella dirty tho*

The area for possible smoking now, i dunt think its good idea to smoke teh entire light now, what you guys think?

Thanks again for your guys help!

yah i was looking at teh 99-00 coupe taillights, its ver different, and i was confused by what he said, but now i understand. Yah i saw these red/clear taillights from JDMcarboy's shop, really dope looking, but as i was going thru posts i saw some negative comments, and was confused. Cuz there is alot of vouches for him, but you know you get even a little bit suspicious when theres one negative comment. i dunt knw if you guys get where im coming from or not. but thats my Two cents.
Maybe you guys can give me a holla about his business, possibly soe experiances you had. that woudl be awsome.

Wow, that does look amazing. I really like teh sutleness of it. I was thinking to do jsut teh bottoms of my tails (the orange and white). I think i will order some tint stickers in a couple days, and give it a go. Or perhaps you have a good method. How did you do your tails? Would you mind sharing your method, if its not to much of a hassle?
Thanks alot CivicDXR.

i was going to do just the bottoms, but i wanted to see what the whole thing would look like.

its not too bad on a black car.

Wow the more pictures i see, the more im starting to like the look. What you think it would look liek on a forest green? But WOW those tails look awsome, give it a stealth look to it. Just plain old sweetness.
