work with the stock engine of a 93 si hatch ? its vtec, i jsut dont know what the stock motor is labled as...i think its a b16d ? is that right ?

anyhow my tranny is about to blow up... and the engine has life... i figured i put the B16 LSD 5 SPEED CABLE TRANNY i was sold into the car if it will bolt up without hassle and hopefully use it later with a b16a...

is this possible ?

if not, what do i need for a tranny in the short term working with my stock vtec that i have currently and to accomodate a b16a down the road? what other engines will work with the tranny i listed ? GSR vtec ?
