That is a type r motor and it comes stock with around 197 hp. If its going in a crx/ or hatch I would focus on traction as with my b16 I have trouble hooking up in first and part of 2nd. Other then that just get the basic like intake header exhaust and all the other bolt ons and you can easilly achive good numbers with that motor

the b18c5 is the type R motor and it puts down around 165 whp. With i/h/e it will put down 175-185 whp. The tranny comes with lsd so traction should be that much of an issue. I saw a 92-95 hatch with this motor + i/h/e tuned hit 12's. The only problem is that it is a really expensive motor.

What did you search for? Because I just did a search for b18c5 and I got 56 results a majority of which explain that this is a type R motor! What do you post about with 180 something posts?

I don't mean to be a jack *** I'm just baffled that you claim to have searched, and didn't figure out that the c5 is a type R.

I asked for clues to search this, if you had read my post you would know that. Thanks because you gave me the answer. Just thoght I would ask because many times I get no results because I am not sure what to enter. Why do you mention the # of posts? I respond to issues I know about and stay out of others. I am still learning and use this site to help me do this. Thanks for the flame.

You're right I miss read your post! I thought you said that you already searched for b18c5. I didn't mean to flame! When you search here it's best to be as general as possible because then you can slowly look for the information you are looking for, and at the same time learn about other issues related to the general topic you are looking for!

I really didn't mean to be a jack ***!

Sorry!
