walboro fuel pump problem

Default walboro fuel pump problem

i just bought a brand new walboro 255 fuel pump and as soon as I took it out of the box it fell and broke....ok theres a black cap on it...in the black cap theres a thing where you stick in a plug and theres this little black tube with a silver tip....that black tube with silver tip broke when it fell....can i quick steel it back on or did i just mess it all up?

Buy another one. The last thing you want is for it to fail when you are driving your car.

i put jb weld around it holding it in place....im going to drive around without a back seat and check it everyday unitl i can afford another one...i 1st used crazy glue to hold it down and jb weld by the outside to make sure it stays...i think it should be just fine...i bought it yesterday brand new for $80 and i went today to buy another one and it was $140...ill use this one in the meantime atleast for 2 weeks until i get paid again

i know this is kinda wrong...but cant you blame it on shipping and try to get another one? i know it an aftermarket product, but it should have some type of warrenty no?

$85 is not alot of money. I would rather spend $85 for a new one then spend $125 for a tow home and possible damage from the fuel pump failing and starving my motor.
