Default Birthday help!((bike accessories))

Hey all, it's my boyfriends birthday soon, and im still stuck when it comes to getting him a gift. He has been very indecicive when it comes to making a decision and letting me know what he wants. For Christmas i bought him a Alpinestar Tz1 jacket and he loved it, but now im not sure whats next. Im wanting to get him something for his bike, he owns a 2004 Honda cbr600 f4i... all stock... and im not to familar with any of the "after market" parts ... im not looking to spend a fortune neither, just something that he would enjoy having... Any ideas?.. that would be great

thats so nice of you. I would recomend a slip-on exhaust, not expensive and a noticeable modification.

Awesome.. Well im glad i got some serious feed back!... Im usally the last person you would find shopping for parts for a car let alone a bike... But im concidering pretty much everything so far that has been suggested to me. Thanks a lot guys... I'm sure i can find something that'll keep him busy for awhile.. riding season is comming soon, last year i rarely saw him, but good thing this year i had gotten a very good looking pink helmet and a nice leather jacket. . i have to give him something in thanks to that...

-Anyway- I have another question reguarding the gift, i was currently looking at a interesting little contraption (haha) it was a phone for the helmet... umm required i believe it was blue tooth? or something of the sort... Again, it ables you to answer, and talk on the phone through your helmet... Now thinking that this might be a good idea to get ahold of him , i began to think that i would rather him not have something to distract him while Riding and talking on the phone at the same time.. (( like the beautiful girls are bad enough right?)) and well the inconciderate drivers out there, who begin to pay no attention to Bike riders what so ever... ANYWAY! im rambling not sure if that is something that is popular or not.. and would it be something YOU would buy for yourself.. let me know guys!!!!

Hit the nail on the head...

Go with turn signals, or gloves, or frame sliders to protect the bike if he doesen't have them, also the slip on is a good idea, check ebay.

My advice, a nicely priced slip-on exhaust and a set of frame sliders

good thinking Just ask him to check his phone for missed calls when he stops. another thing i have noticed some people i ride with do is put their phone on their tripple clamp so that they can look at their phone more regularly and check for missed calls. just some other choices

i say protective gear 1st.
A nice pair of riding boots or racing boots would be a great start. I'm assuming that he already has a decent pair of gloves, helmet, and you already got him a jacket.
A back protector would be nice but I'm pretty sure that he wouldn't wear it every time he rides.
Also, maybe a suit even.. there are some nice suits nowadays at a reasonable price such as Shift leather suits.
Sorry if I missed spelled.. I'm drunk.

thats debateable, but get the best gear you budget allows if you go that route as it seem you really care about him since you are putting so much effort into getting him what he wants.

im kinda liking this honda-tech stuff thanks a lot guys!!!! Well after debating and looking on e-bay and other random sites, I've realized that (you guys) and my boyfriend a long with any other rider are pretty picky when it comes to what you want, and what will look good on the bike.. and me being absolutly clueless i have come to the decison to just take him shopping and have him pick out whatever he wants What i think might be more easier... that way i dont have to deal with getting the wrong thing... so i will let you guys know what he chose.. and then hopefully i can head up to coach and get myself another purse what a deal! have a good one guys and shiney side up

i would get him sidi boots.. its best.. plain and simple..depend what model 100-500

sidi is best brand for boots too...and also make "one" look fast when riding w/ one..heheheh

A custom suit by Helimot or any other of the few well known suit makers and Daytona boots are better

I wasn't going to say it, since this is a thread about what inexpensive stuff she could buy, but +1 on what BP said.

Sounds more like teacher buys the brands that people tell him are good - Sidi, Dainese, Ducati...

As for the original poster, if it's not too late, buy him a set of stands. Pit Bull are nice. Handy Stands are less expensive. While a slip-on is nice, it's not something that will easily transfer from bike-to-bike. Besides gear and training, stands will most likely be useful for most any other bike he gets in the future.
