Default Skid Plates for non JDM 4-1 Headers??

I'm not 100% sure but from what i've heard, the heatshield bolts up to and will only work on the Type-R JDM 4-1 header...i'm running the Toda header and just to be safe from scraping or from rock chips i was thinking about trying to use the bottom part of the heatshield for it. Does anyone know if it'll work, like bolt to the motor or would you have to fab something for it to either bolt to the header itself or to the motor? any advice will help...please help me keep my header as good looking as possible
-Ryan

try welding on the fastline performance skid plate.

the oem bottom heat shield won't do anything to protect ur header, it's too flimsy.

never heard of fastline..but welding a skid plate on seems to be your best bet

here's the fastline. I'm sure you can somehow weld it onto your header. Or weld up brackets so that you can bolt it on.

The Fastline skid plate can be found on HeelToeAuto.com for $49.00+shipping. I think if you took it to a muffler shop and could find a way to rig it up, it would be worth it! Contact MrHeelToe on here and see what kind of shipping deal he would be willing to work up for you! That coming from the one who's Spoon header has been flat-spotted I am looking to try it soon! Below is the link...

And some pics from their site!

Sorry if they are large...Its just how they came directly from their site!
