Default Gauge pods.......the ones around the bezel

Here it a question for those of you with the gauge pod cluster that houses two gauges around the instrument cluster.

How satisfied are you with the visability of your stock gauges with the new gauge bezel installed?

Ive noticed that the newly installed gauges seem to block the fuel and temp gauges slightly. Does this cause any annoyance to anyone who has this type of bezel installed?

I had one on my civic no problem really.

I had one on my civic w/gsr cluster and it blocked them even more, its not really a problem though, you see most of the gauge easily. The taller you are the more you see too, I'm a little guy and it never bothered me either.

Do you think you guys could take some good pictures of what they look like from eye level when you are sitting in the drivers seat?

i have an ek.. the left gauge blocks about to the 1K mark.. but its not that bad.. I can see it if I go on an angle.. but really if my idle is bouncing I can feel it or hear it.. i dont need my tach in the lower rpm. They are fine for visibility

Mine barely blocks it at all, so I guess it doesn't bother me one bit...I had the same concern before buying, but I'm definitely happy with it.

Hey Dunc, what size gauges are those? They look like they fit great.

I think ultimatly, this it the route I wasnt to go so as not to attract unwanted attention.

They are the 2-1/16" guages. Oh and when I'm sitting in the car, I can see the "F" on the fuel gauge and the "C" on the temp gauge...so there's virtually nothing being blocked.

Nice. Is all of the tach readable? I don't like any numbers being covered up. I bought a no name brand and sold it because it covered up the tach up to th1 1,000 mark.
