motor mounts
i was smashing today on my gsr.. and right wen i poped it to second i heard a PING..went back picked up a big screw....everytime i shift my motor moves back and forth..im thinking its the back motor mount...what do u guys think??what can i do??
grab the intake manifold and shake the motor to see if it moves, u can tell what mount is toast, i would replace them all at the same time, i use hasport mounts.

Well is it a screw or a bolt? There is a huge difference. Definately rock the manifold back anf fourth that will help determine where the problem is coming from. Also sticking your head underneath the car and looking helps.

what can you do?
Well first, replace the bolt that fell out. Yes, the back one is a PITA, but perhaps it's not the back mount anyways. Find out where the bolt fell out from, replace bolt, and drive.
Replace the mounts if they are destroyed, but reinstalling the bolt seems like a logical first step to me.
