Default Passenger side window problem

im having an issue with my passenger side power window in my 93 lx.

basically, the driver and passenger can both put the window down.

the driver can bring the window back up, but on the passenger side the window wont work going up.

now, if the driver is bringing the window up from the drivers side, and the passenger attempts to use his/her button at the same time, the window stops in place and neither can bring the window up, until both release the switch, then the driver can resume pulling it up.

i hope that isnt confusing...just wandering what could cause this..

im thinking, bad switch but any more suggestions would be nice

check your electrical system and then check your window motors and linkage/guides for the windows

If the window goes up & down normally with the drs door master switch, then keep it simple. You just eliminated the window motor & master switch as likely causes. Look at the pass. side door switch.

You've got a bad passanger side window switch. Each window's drive motor gets both power and ground thru it's representative switch. The wires which work the window from the drivers' side splice into the motor harness on the body harness side of the switch.
What I belive has happened is the r/s switch has a internal open where it can't reverse polarity to drive the motor closed.

If you've some measure of patience, try disassembling the switch and cleaning the connections, sometimes you can kick start these things.
