Sad news, we lose of a great racer from Puerto Rico
Please allow me to share my pain.
I don't even know how to type or how to begin this, last night at 2.00am I received a very sad call, our dear friend Misito has pass away in a drag racing accident at the race track.
He was driving a 7 second gran national and the gas pedal got stuck, the shoot never open and he ended hitting the wall at over 160mph head on.
Misito, all do, not many people are aware of it, was a native of Ponce Puerto Rico, the same place that I come from.
He was and will be the pioneer of the fastest Hyundai in the world with his Hyundai Accent, he was the real deal, 1 year ago we were in search of our next project, we look at every single platform until our friends from the Super Compacto magazine put us in touch with him.
Back then the car best time was 10.50 making her the fastest hyundai anywhere, it was him that talk us into getting in the hyudai world, his track record speak for it self.
Based on his advice we purchase our hyundai, he wanted a 2003 to 2005 because we never do anything half ***, it took me 7 long months to find him the best example I could find a 2005 with 1802 miles.
He was extremelly happy, he was going to be the grandfather of our project, by then he was running 9.20, again the fastest hyundai in this earth.
We will talk every week and how we together were going to build this project,he was so happy to be part of our team, he trust us so much that he wrote down the entire combination on how to make our car run the same times or better.
Indeed the hyundai world has miss on a great tunner, racer and engine builder a very low profile guy that only a few knew about.
It was great to had him in our team, our project will continue and we will make sure that we make his dream a reality,to have the fastest hyundai ever.
I will work non stop to accomplish this goal, that's is a promise, he changed the hyundai world and we hope to continue his legacy.
A sad day for us indeed, we are hurt.
Misito we love you for ever.

I have seen this car, "La Pulga", run at Salinas Speedway. I saw this car back when he was still running high 10s and low 11s. I was extremely impressed but at the same time I was not suprised. In Puerto Rico, they make anything and everything run extremely fast. They make the impossible possible. His accomplishments are a perfect example of hard work, dedication, and never giving up on a dream.
My condolences goes to all of his family and friends.
Que descance en pas y que dios me lo cuide!

What a huge loss to the import racing world. The last time i seen him he was telling me about how the payout for racing scooters at his local track was higher than the payout for the turbo 6 class: and that there scooter was making almost 30hp. He was a huge part of our team this year helping us build the TurboWax Tiberon. He will be missed. R.I.P
