Was this car a good deal? 2000 EK Hatch
Hey everyone, I just bought this 2000 Civic CX for 2000 bucks. Runs great and body is in good shape. It has 300,000 miles on it. I purchased it from a shipping company who used the car to overnight packages, which explains the mileage. I have all the documented maintenance (t-belt, brakes, oil, etc . . . ) Good deal or no?
As you can see the bumber is cracked.

Yea only $2000 cash. I bought it from a shipping company in Vermot, that is why it has so many miles. I have all the documented routine maintenance though. They had a bunch of them for sale and this was they're last one. I got lucky. I love it. : ) and yes. . . i am planning a motor swap + turbo

All the paint matches. It might be the lighting. I used the flash. There is a lot of chips and a few tiny dents in the car though. It could use a little body work and a paint job though, which I'm looking forward to.
Thanks for all the replies.

wow someone drove the **** outta that car. good thing you gonna swap the motor
You might want to replace suspension parts that aren't supposed to last 300,000 miles. I know it's only 6 years old but some parts need to be replaced based on mileage, not age. Any rubber parts and maybe even repack the wheel bearings. Great deal!

Good deal, but u sure its a 2000? Dang, who drives 60,000 miles a year in a honda civic, the crummy one, with THOSE tires? Guy must have a very padded *** or itd be dead by now.
VERY good deal if you ask me. Given a replacement motor on ebay is about 300$, haha.

dude you stole that car. I dont care if it 1,000,000 miles. The motor can be changed over and you can replace old worn susoension parts. my 99 has 265,000 and I got a good deal on that. high mileage honda are the way to go. someone out there would have payed probonly 3k for that. people jock those cars.
