spoiler?
the other day i was driving and i noticed that when i got to high speeds the rear end would move around, for lack of better words, and i was wondering if a spoiler would help with more downforce and keep the rearend where it should be. if it would, should i go with a stock spoiler or get something a lil bit bigger? i dont want to rice my car out, but what you guys think?
For the speeds we drive, a rear spoiler (of any design) is ineffective. In order to be of any use, it would have to be about the size of a 747's horizontal stabalizer.
Even the huge wings they used to put on the back of Daytona Chargers (Chrysler) were only effective at oval track speeds; and they were 4 feet tall!
If the rear of your ride feels loose, you've other issues more pressing. Like suspension bushings or other such stuff.
