16Zck Internals---------High Compression
Guys I am planing to build a motor D16Z6 with stock internals and I want to use a the CR of 12:0,is it okay for the stock internals,if not please tell me the highest possible on stock internals........THANKS
You're not getting that high of a compression ratio with stock internals!
Highest you'll get is like 9.7-9.8:1 by milling head and thinner head gasket!

well im not quite sure, buts its just a safe beet, to upgrade anyways, i built a SC Z6, and did the hole upper and lower, full rebuild, and its totaly fine (though not like i wouldnt expect it to be) but be on the safe side if you can man
How do you plan on running 12:0:1 with stock internals? Mill the head and thinner head gasket?
The compression isn't going to kill stock rods and pistons. Unless you're building a race only car try and stay below 12:0:1 so you can get a decent tune on 91-93 octane fuel.
