Its sold, b*llocks
Had to happen, the TZ is off to a new home. Still better to have raced and fallen off than never to have raced at all. I achieved what I set out to do which was to race, to be competitive, to win, to run in the top 5 in the GP class and to fall off and really hurt myself.
On the upside in BSB team we have upgraded from 'doing a professional job' to 'officially not f*cking around anymore' and we plan to win the Championship this year. I have my rider sorted out and the bike is complete and very, very trick. I might even get out on it this year which is great. I'll be in Europe and all over the UK with them and will be passing on the pics.
In the meantime I will miss the 250 but I may get another one who knows?
Anyone thinking about a track day, go racing instead. You wont regret it.

you fulfilled the same ambitions i set out for myself when i purchased a bike. except the falling off part of course. haha. but bikes are built to be raced, and race is what we shall do
on this race topic... what is the best way of getting involved in this. I plan on attending a few track days to test it out this year not sure what to expect though. Kind of scared that i'm gonna make a fool of myself with my lack of experience or abilities... any advice?

There will still be reports, only from a different perspective

First thing to do is try out a track day. Don't be worried about it as there are different speed groups to ride in. You'll soon learn to take people at face value and generally you'll find the biggest mouths have the least ability
As for making a foll of yourself we have all been there. No-one watching a race who doesn't race themselves has any right to comment on anybody (including the slowest person on track) who has got the ***** to go and have a go. At one meet in between races there were these gobby bigheads taking the p*ss out of one ot eh slow riders. I asked them what their PB time was around the track as they obviously knew what they were on about? They soon left.
You start somewhere and get better. Unless you are very gifted and get lucky you will be competing for and against yourself, like most of us out there. As long as you dont lose sight of that everything will be fine.
Look for a track in your area and search the web for club racing in your area. Get a licence and have a go

I was planning on racing in AFM this upcoming season but a knee injury pushed it out to next season
