question about control arm replacement for 1st gen CRX/ 3rd gen civic
im having trouble getting the left front control arm out of the bushing... is it pressed in? i can rotate it up and down but when i banged on it with a hammer it does not budge... how do i get it out?
any help with be greatly appreciated

is it an 87? on my 91 the part that bolts to the frame (inner part) I think is the half you are talking about is not pressed in there and should just come out....try a big prybar.

yea i used a BFH and banged on it profusely for an extended period of time and it did not budge
there isnt really anywhere to pry on the control arm
if i heated it up with a torch you think it might come out easier?
