how do i take out my throttle cable on my 90 civic 4dr?

Very easily, just look under the dash and you'll see how it's attached to the gas pedal, you don't even needs tools.

If it is like my 88 crx there is a white clip that snaps into the pedal assembly. Pop it out with a small screwdriver and the cable should end up in your hands.

Look at the new one to see what the clip looks like.

Just remember that the cable needs a little play!

ok...
would that be the problem why my car keeps revving??
or is it a vacuum or another cable or what??

If youre car is spiratically revving, up and down up and down and is consistant, you either have a nice vacuum leak (check EVERYTHING), or your tps is out of adjustment, or your iacv on the back of the intake manifold is clogged and needs a clenaing or needs to be replaced

If your idle is bouncing, its not your throttle cable

but when i tighten my cable...my car starts revving
and when i loosen it..the car stops revving and the idle drops
