Default new trans now no speed

Maybe someone can help me here. I blew up a trans a few months ago and have been though...the fourth one is on the way, trying to find a good one. But since I put the 1st new one in my spedometer hasn't worked. Does anyone know if there is something I left unpluged (I can't find anything) or some other trick that I missed. I'm not sure how the spedo connects to the trans so even that would be helpful

thanks

Plug in the speed sensor. I might be loose, or unplugged.

Well that's the obvious thing, any idea where it is? That's one big piece that I need.

Make sure the cable is all the way in the transmission, also plugged into the instrument cluster and all plugs on back of cluster are fully engaged.

the speedo cable should plug in right next to the rear mount, the plug faces up. it should use a cable driven setup.
