suspension knocking noise?
I've called a couple of people about this, maybe some of you guys have an idea of what's going on.
I lowered my car 2 weeks ago, I've got this knocking noise coming from the front driver side. When I turn the wheel and make a sharp right corner and then turn the wheel back straight I hear a loud pop. It only does it when I'm giving it gas and turning, if I just sit and turn the wheel it will not do it. Also when I'm driving straight, I hear a pop pop pop pop, it's not very loud, it I can't seem to find anything that triggers it, it's just when it wants to, . When I accelerate it will go away. My alignment is a little bit off. I took the wheel off and everything seems to be tightened down. Any ideas? I was thinking axel but I've never known them to knock when driving straight. Abe said something about the spring isolator?
thanks,
