My dad just change one of my mom co worker tranny fluid using mobil 10w-30.. is that good? i was questioning him but he was like it should be ok. its a dailydriver anyways. My dad was like he bought the motor oil and its no biggie . It runs fine.

Im wondering does anyone else use that on their daily driver? I usually go with Honda the fluid from the dealers. Is it bad to use mobil 10w30 syntheic blend motor oil?

Although not that best you can use it will not harm your tranny. I usually go with 10w-40 on the tranny. But for my spoiled baby I usually use the Acura dealers tranny oil. =X

 

its not going to harm your tranny, HTF is 10-30 with a "addictive"

i've used the exact same oil on my tranny once for 5k nothing happened,

 

i use only redline or GM synchromesh on my tranny..

its old and needs the synchro protection though.
