Hey guys got a b16 in the car now and of course its not enough low end wondering your thoughts on bottom end swap outs like do a ls/vtec or a gsr bottom whats your thoughts would rather keep it NA right now cause no room in the bank for a TURBO owell right!!!

Keep the b16 block, just build it up.

 

your properly built NA project will cost the same amount as a turbo kit.

 

if your going turbo, i'd just build your b16. If N/A i'd go with a gsr block....

 

ok lots of good feed back what kind of power numbers could be achieved in theory i know but how much power does everyone think with the different set ups

 

Save up for a turbo. Unless you find a block for next to nothing & get other parts for cheap as well, you almost be spending as much to piece together a cheap turbo kit. Then again, it all depends on what you want to do & your power goals.

 

im in the same boat, but I've made the dicision to get a gsr block (I have a whole gsr swap, but im just using the block). That way, I'll have some torque, and maybe in the future I can go turbo.
