I have a 1994 Honda Civic that is giving me problems. When the car is on neutral(manual transmission) and the engine gets warm and you give it gas, the idle starts going up and down without control. This problem is driving me crazy because it is hard to drive. The car stalls when running when it does this. Ready took the car to 6 mechanics and no one found the problem. Can someone please help me!!!!!!

 

sounds like the iacv. its the black thing on the back of the intake manifold. get the black cap off and there should be a screen clean it with carb cleaner. and if you can see i think in the back of the iacv there is a screw you should tighten it down if u can get to it or if it is loose.
